As a parent of a 2 year old and a 3 year old, I really appreciate the rules of Shadow Rock Preschool. They are rules that I will promote in our home, as we're learning to play together, and with others. I love that these rules encourage children to be aware of how their words and actions affect those around them. I also love that these rules teach children to express their own needs and feelings to others.

I had the pleasure of spending time in a 4 year old classroom for a morning, watching these rules put in action. It was wonderful to me to hear the teacher coaching the children through their conflicts using these principles. It is a great feeling to know that the children of Shadow Rock Preschool are learning these life skills that they will share with others for years to come. In my opinion, Shadow Rock Preschool is making the world a better place, one preschooler at a time!

One of my favorite things about Shadow Rock Preschool is the dedication from the teachers. Every year before school starts they do in home visits where they actually come to your house to meet with the parents and the children. It really gives the kids an idea of what to expect on the first day of school. I've never heard of another school where the teachers come to your house. It really shows how much they care and how dedicated they are. Thank you Shadow Rock teachers.

The teachers at Shadow Rock Preschool are there because they love the children. You can tell from their dedication and patience that they truly want to help the kids grow and learn. We can't wait for school to start again on August 24th!

Shadow Rock is a wonderful, loving, caring environment. We are so excited to be starting our second year there. We are fairly new to Phoenix and when I started my preschool search I came home from so many schools disappointed. After one visit to Shadow Rock Preschool I knew it was the perfect place for my child. We are so lucky to have found it!

What a great article! I started making my 3 year old help set and clear the dinner table, he is slow, but feels so accomplished when we praise him for such a wonderful job. I think he feels like an active/helping participant in the family and takes great pride that he can do it.

My son has always enjoyed reading and since starting preschool at Shadow Rock last year it seems like his love of reading has increased. He comes home from school telling me about the book they read that day and wants to have that story at his house.

My son has been at Shadow Rock Preschool for 2 years. He loves to read! He likes to "trick" his grandpa into thinking he's reading the book to him when he really just knows every single word by memory! Even this deep into summer, he still talks about his teacher, Mrs. Neaville, reading stories when they went back inside from playtime. Shadow Rock has made a great foundation for us to build from... I'm grateful!
